Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Medi-Redi website, intake
process, virtual consultation coordination, medication preparedness services, and
related services.
By accessing or using the Medi-Redi website or services, you agree to these Terms of
Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the website or
services.
1. About Medi-Redi
Medi-Redi is a medication preparedness and coordination service. The Medi-Redi
process may include:
> Completion of a health and travel intake;
> Identity verification;
> A virtual consultation with a licensed healthcare professional;
> Independent clinical assessment and prescribing, where appropriate;
> Prescription processing and dispensing by a licensed pharmacy; and
> Delivery of medications and related information.
Medi-Redi is not a pharmacy and does not dispense medications.
Clinical assessments, treatment recommendations, and prescribing decisions are made
by the licensed healthcare professional involved in your care, based on their
independent professional judgment.
Prescription medications are dispensed by a licensed pharmacy.
2. Eligibility and Service Availability
You must provide accurate information about your identity, location, age, and other
information required to determine whether Medi-Redi services are available to you.
Access to particular services may depend on factors including:
> Your age and location;
> The availability and licensing of healthcare professionals;
> The availability and policies of participating pharmacies;
> Applicable laws and professional requirements;
> Medication availability; and
> Whether virtual assessment is clinically appropriate.
Medi-Redi may decline, limit, or discontinue a service where it cannot be provided
safely, appropriately, or lawfully.
3. The Intake and Consultation Process
To access prescription-related services, you may be required to:
> Complete a health and travel intake;
> Confirm your identity;
> Provide relevant medical information;
> Participate in a virtual consultation;
> Respond to additional clinical questions; and
> Provide other information reasonably required to assess your needs or provide
the service.
You are responsible for providing information that is accurate, complete, and current.
This includes relevant information about your:
> Medical conditions and health history;
> Allergies and previous medication reactions;
> Current prescription and non-prescription medications;
> Supplements and other health products;
> Pregnancy or breastfeeding status, where relevant;
> Recent medical treatment or investigations;
> Travel destination, itinerary, activities, and expected access to care; and
> Any other circumstances relevant to the clinical assessment.
Incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information may affect the safety or
appropriateness of any clinical recommendation or prescription.
4. Independent Clinical Judgment
Healthcare professionals involved in the Medi-Redi process exercise independent
professional judgment.
Medi-Redi does not guarantee, direct, or predetermine the outcome of a clinical
assessment.
The healthcare professional may:
> Approve a requested medication;
> Decline to prescribe a medication;
> Recommend a different medication;
> Change the quantity, dose, or formulation;
> Remove a medication from a proposed package;
> Request further information;
> Recommend an in-person assessment or additional investigation; or
> Determine that the service is not appropriate for your circumstances.
You agree that clinical decisions must be based on your individual circumstances and
may differ from the medications or services described elsewhere on the Medi-Redi
website.
5. No Guarantee of Prescription
Completing an intake form, selecting a package, paying a fee, or participating in a
consultation does not guarantee that:
> A prescription will be issued;
> A particular medication will be prescribed;
> All medications displayed in a package or on the website will be approved for
you;
> A specific quantity, dose, brand, or formulation will be provided; or
> A medication will remain available from the dispensing pharmacy.
Prescription decisions are made only after appropriate clinical assessment.
6. Medications Prescribed in Advance
Some medications may be prescribed in advance for possible future use if a particular
health concern arises during travel or in circumstances where access to medical care
may be limited.
Receiving a medication in advance does not mean that it should automatically be taken
whenever you develop symptoms.
Different illnesses and medical conditions can cause similar symptoms. A medication
prescribed for one circumstance may be inappropriate for another.
You must use medications only:
> For the person for whom they were prescribed;
> For the purposes and circumstances discussed with the prescribing healthcare
professional;
> In accordance with the prescription label;
> In accordance with instructions from the prescribing healthcare professional and
dispensing pharmacy; and
> In accordance with any medication guide or care instructions provided to you.
You should seek medical assessment or advice when symptoms are severe, unusual,
worsening, persistent, or materially different from the circumstances discussed during
your consultation or described in the instructions provided to you.
Where timely medical assessment is reasonably available and you are uncertain
whether a medication is appropriate for your symptoms, seek advice from a qualified
healthcare professional before taking it.
7. Your Responsibilities When Using Medication
You are responsible for:
> Reading and following the prescription label and all instructions provided;
> Reviewing warnings and information supplied with the medication;
> Using medications only as directed;
> Checking medication expiry dates before use;
> Storing medications appropriately;
> Keeping medications secure and away from children and other unauthorized
persons;
> Not sharing, transferring, selling, or providing prescribed medications to another
person; and
> Seeking professional advice when you are uncertain about the safe or
appropriate use of a medication.
Medications prescribed to you are for your individual use only. A medication that is
appropriate for one person may be unsafe or inappropriate for another.
8. Changes in Your Health or Circumstances
A prescribing decision is based on the information available at the time of your clinical
assessment.
Before using a medication that was prescribed in advance, consider whether there has
been a significant change in your circumstances since the prescription was issued.
Relevant changes may include:
> A new medical condition;
> A new allergy or medication reaction;
> Pregnancy or breastfeeding;
> Starting, stopping, or changing another medication;
> A significant change in your health;
> A significant change in your travel plans; or
> Any other circumstance that may affect the safety or appropriateness of the
medication.
Where circumstances have materially changed or you are uncertain whether a
medication remains appropriate, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional or
pharmacist before using it.
9. Medication Safety and Effectiveness
All medications have potential benefits and risks.
No medication is safe, appropriate, or effective for every person or every medical
condition. Medications may cause:
> Side effects;
> Allergic reactions;
> Drug interactions;
> Contraindications;
> Treatment failure; or
> Other adverse effects.
Neither the prescription nor provision of a medication guarantees that it will:
> Prevent an illness;
> Treat every possible cause of your symptoms;
> Be effective in your particular circumstances;
> Resolve your symptoms;
> Be free from side effects or adverse reactions; or
> Eliminate the need for further medical assessment or treatment.
Individual responses to medications vary.
Seek appropriate medical care if your condition does not improve as expected,
worsens, or causes concern.
10. Virtual Care Limitations
Virtual care can be appropriate for many healthcare needs but has limitations.
A virtual consultation may not permit all aspects of an in-person assessment, including
physical examination, diagnostic testing, laboratory investigation, medical imaging, or
direct observation of certain clinical findings.
A healthcare professional may determine at any time that a concern cannot be safely or
adequately assessed through virtual care and may recommend:
> An in-person examination;
> Laboratory testing;
> Diagnostic imaging;
> Emergency or urgent care;
> Assessment by another healthcare professional; or
> Other investigation or treatment.
Medi-Redi does not replace an ongoing relationship with your regular primary care
provider or other healthcare professionals involved in your care.
11. Travel and Remote Locations
Medi-Redi is intended to support medication preparedness. It does not replace:
> Appropriate travel health planning;
> Vaccination and preventive healthcare;
> Travel insurance;
> Emergency evacuation coverage;
> Local medical assessment;
> Hospital or emergency care; or
> Other services that may be required during travel.
Carrying medications does not guarantee that an illness can be safely assessed or
treated without professional medical care.
Some conditions require services that cannot be provided through a medication
preparedness service, including physical examination, diagnostic testing, intravenous
treatment, surgery, hospitalization, or other forms of in-person care.
Do not allow access to advance medications to delay appropriate medical assessment
or emergency treatment.
12. Emergencies and Urgent Medical Concerns
Medi-Redi is not an emergency medical service.
The website, intake process, email, messaging services, and virtual consultation
process must not be relied on for emergency response or urgent medical monitoring.
Do not delay urgent or emergency care while waiting for a response from Medi-Redi, a
healthcare professional, a pharmacy, or another online service.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or the local emergency number
for your location, or seek immediate care from the nearest appropriate medical facility.
When travelling outside Canada, you are responsible for familiarizing yourself with local
emergency services and how to access medical care at your destination.
13. Medication and Product Availability
Medication availability may vary.
The pharmacy may dispense a generic or therapeutically equivalent medication where
appropriate and permitted.
The following may vary without advance notice:
> Manufacturer;
> Brand;
> Packaging;
> Appearance;
> Formulation;
> Quantity; and
> Availability.
Supply shortages, pharmacy policies, legal or regulatory requirements, clinical
decisions, shipping restrictions, or other circumstances may affect whether a medication
can be dispensed or delivered.
Medi-Redi does not guarantee continuous availability of any particular medication or
product.
14. Independent Healthcare Professionals and Pharmacies
Healthcare professionals and pharmacies involved in providing services through the
Medi-Redi process are independently responsible for fulfilling their own legal,
regulatory, ethical, and professional obligations.
Healthcare professionals are responsible for their clinical assessments,
recommendations, and prescribing decisions.
Pharmacies and pharmacists are responsible for dispensing decisions, medication
verification, pharmacy counselling, and other professional pharmacy services.
Nothing on the Medi-Redi website should be interpreted as requiring a healthcare
professional or pharmacist to make a particular clinical, prescribing, or dispensing
decision.
15. Website Information
Content on the Medi-Redi website is provided for general educational and informational
purposes only.
General website content does not constitute individualized:
> Medical advice;
> Diagnosis;
> Treatment;
> A prescription;
> A recommendation to use a particular medication; or
> A substitute for assessment by a qualified healthcare professional.
Do not use general website information to self-diagnose a medical condition or
independently determine whether a prescription medication is appropriate for you.
Personalized clinical advice is provided only through an appropriate professional
relationship with a qualified healthcare professional.
16. Fees, Payment, Refunds, and Cancellations
Prices and fees applicable to a service will be disclosed during the purchase process.
Additional terms relating to cancellations, refunds, consultations, prescriptions,
pharmacy fulfillment, and shipping may be presented at checkout or before purchase.
Fees may relate to different components of the service, including administrative
services, clinical consultation, pharmacy services, medications, or delivery.
Where a healthcare professional determines that a requested medication is not clinically
appropriate, refund eligibility will be governed by the refund and cancellation terms
disclosed at the time of purchase.
Certain fees may become non-refundable after an intake has been processed, a
consultation has begun or been completed, a prescription has been processed, a
pharmacy has begun fulfillment, or an order has been shipped.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Shipping and Delivery
Any delivery dates or timeframes provided are estimates unless expressly stated
otherwise.
Delays may occur due to factors outside Medi-Redi’s reasonable control, including:
> Pharmacy processing;
> Medication shortages;
> Carrier delays;
> Weather;
> Remote destinations;
> Incorrect delivery information;
> Regulatory restrictions; or
> Other unforeseen circumstances.
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information and for
arranging appropriate receipt and storage of medications.
Do not rely on estimated shipping times where you require medication for an immediate
or urgent medical need.
18. Privacy
Medi-Redi collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information in
accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable law.
The delivery of Medi-Redi services may require personal information to be shared with
healthcare professionals, pharmacies, and service providers involved in the intake,
consultation, payment, fulfillment, delivery, and support process.
Please review the Medi-Redi Privacy Policy for further information.
19. Communications
Medi-Redi may communicate with you by email, telephone, text message, platform
message, or other electronic means regarding:

cannot lawfully be excluded.
23. Disclaimer of Warranties
The website and general website content are provided on an “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Medi-Redi does not guarantee:

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or
expenses resulting from your unlawful misuse of the website or services, intentional
provision of false or misleading information, unauthorized use of another person’s
identity, or unlawful transfer or resale of medications.
This section does not apply to losses caused by Medi-Redi’s own negligence, unlawful
conduct, or other responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
26. Changes to the Website or Services
Medi-Redi may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue website features, services,
medication offerings, or service areas from time to time.
Where a change materially affects a service you have already purchased, Medi-Redi
will address the affected service in accordance with applicable law and the terms
disclosed at the time of purchase.
27. Changes to These Terms
Medi-Redi may update these Terms from time to time.
The current version will be posted on the website with the date of the latest update.
Material changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise permitted by law.

constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
28. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable federal
laws of Canada.
Any dispute will be addressed in the courts or tribunals with jurisdiction under applicable
law.
Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of protections or rights that cannot lawfully
be waived or restricted.
